No Display Problem In Laptops

Hi guys this is zed and this post is about no display problem in laptops and its causes. One day you try to switch on your laptop, you press power button, leds are on, hard disc is running, fan also running but you get a black screen. You try many times but nothing happens, you still a black screen. Don't panic this problem can be solved but first you have to understand causes which may be responsible for this problem and those are,

Causes
1. RAM is not working properly.
2. Faulty cable which connects your laptop screen to motherboard.
3. Faulty screen.
4. Graphics card not working properly.
5. Motherboard power supply is broken(any resistor or capacitor or a chip or .... is dead).

Solution
step-1. These are the major problem which causes this problem. when you face this problem your first step should be this-remove your laptop's ram(both if you have 2 ram) and put one at a time in each slot and switch on your laptop. if one of ram works then other one is faulty replace it with a new one and if both of them work in a particular slot then other slot is faulty, so you can use only one ram.

step-2. If this does not solve your problem get an external display and connect it to your VGA out put port or an HDMI cable to connect to your LCD/LED tv. If this solve your problem you need to replace your connecting cable or screen.

step-3. If this does not solve your problem there may be problem in your graphic card or your power supply is broken. this problem cannot be solved easily. You will need to go to repair shop.
If your GPU is fine(repair man will tell that) you are lucky, the problem is not that big and he can fix it in no time but if your bad luck is good replacing GPU is going to be hard on your pocket.

there are two cause which are stopping GPU to work properly
1-your GPU is dead.(which is not a common cause)
2-soldering balls which connects GPU to motherboard are shorted or disconnected.( happens most of the time)

in first case you need a new graphics card. But in second case problem can be solved by replacing new solder balls which needs high skill and this will cost you less in comparison to a new one.

Causes for GPU failure

GPU is a micro chip which generate more heat compare to CPU. after 2-3 years your laptop facing this problem is common. because in lack of proper cleaning dust particle start blocking exhaust . which results in increase in tempeature, and if you use your laptop for gaming of watching movies GPU get over heated and results in no screen or faulty screen( colored lines, segmented display, half display).
To avoid this you need to clean your laptop regularly once every  2-3 months and buy cooling pad (cost 4$-5$ ) for summer. Have fun with your laptops.

How To Create Ad Hoc Network in Windows 8

Hello guys,
I am Ashish Mishra from New Delhi, India
From Today or you can say just now I am starting to share my ideas related to Technology and also the Solutions of the issues that I have faced.

So, my first post is related to the networking and I will tel you all about the Ad Hoc Network that means its creation, use and difficulties in earlier versions of Windows such as Windows 8. Ad Hoc Network is used for sharing your internet connection to your room partners or friends. By the use of this you can access the internet in more then one systems with a single modem or a single LAN connection.

I have already experienced that in windows 7 it is very easy to create an Ad Hoc Network but in Windows 8 there is no any option to create an Ad Hoc Network directly.

Now there are the steps for creating the Ad Hoc Network in Windows 8-

Step1- Go to the right down side of  your desktop and search cmd in the search box

Step2- Right click on the cmd and select open as administrator (because you need the admin privilege for doing this task )
Step3- When you will perform above two
steps then you will see the screen like this.....

Step4- Now you will have to type the below mention command and replace <network name> to your desired name and <password> accordingly.

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=<network name> key=<password>

after you entering this command and press enter you will see the cmd look like this...

Step5- After doing above steps your Ad Hoc Network has been created and you will have to start your network to use it.

for starting your network you have to type the below mention command..

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Step6- You have done all the things and now you have to share your internet connection by right clicking network and sharing center that is on the right down side.
When you will open the network and
sharing center then you will see two
networks are there one is your
Ad Hoc Network and shows up
by your name that you use in the
step4 command and second is
your internet connection.

Step7- this is the last step that you have to do. Just click on the internet connection and going to Properties>sharing and check the option allow other users to use your internet connection.

You have finished all the things now you can access the internet by any other device that are in your wifi range so just connect your mobile, other systems and enjoy the net................

If anyone have any concerns related to do or unable to do any of the above steps then you can comment on the down side, I will try to resolve your issue.
